According to Sharp County Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson, the following individuals were incarcerated last week (3/20/23-3/27/2023). An average of 73 inmates were housed in the Sharp County Detention Center daily.

Randall Burton, 34, of Cave City, was arrested for Shoplifting, Theft of Property <=$1000, Breaking and Entering, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, and Fleeing.
Shelby Chiaromonte, 41, of Cave City, was arrested for Contempt of Court.
William Crock, 60, Cave City, Failure to Appear-Felony on Possession of Controlled Substance Sched I, II Meth/Cocaine <2GM.
Corbin Davidson, 21, of Hardy, Absconding/White Warrant.
Amy Free, 43, of Newport, was arrested for Arson $15,000 but Less than $100,000.
Edward French, 59, of Batesville, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Open Container of Alcohol in Vehicle, Failure to Register Vehicle-Expired Tags.
