On March 29, 2023, at approximately 10:30 pm a Wright County Deputy observed a vehicle failing to maintain their lane and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver and consent to search the vehicle was requested and granted. During the search, a suspected methamphetamine pipe was located and field tested. The field test indicated a positive result for methamphetamine. Michelle Burrow, 44, of Myrtle MO. was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Wright County Jail.
On March 28th, 2023 at approximately 12:52 am a Wright County deputy conducted a traffic stop at Hwy 60 at Cravens Rd for traffic violations. During the stop K9 Alex was deployed. A search of the vehicle revealed a clear container containing suspected methamphetamine. 65-year-old Calvin Holloway from Ava was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Wright County Jail.
On March 23, 2023, at approximately 1:35 am a Wright County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Eagle St. in Norwood. During the stop K9 Alex was deployed and positively alerted to the odor of narcotics. Suspected methamphetamine paraphernalia was located. 38-year-old Robin Beason was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Wright County Jail.
On March 18, 2023, at approximately 12:56 am a Wright County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on High St. in Mtn. Grove for traffic violations. During the stop consent to search was requested and granted. Suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. 39-year-old Nekeya McGaugh of Mtn. Grove was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Wright County Jail.
