The Missouri Department of Public Safety approved the grants. The money comes from the ARPA funds and was part of the 2023 Missouri Fiscal Year Budget plan. Oregon County will get $126,250, Shannon County gets $400,542 and Texas County gets $191,181. The counties are required to match the funds at a value of 50 %.
