56-year-old Gary Doke allegedly grabbed an inmate by the neck and pushed him into a corner then hit him four times. Doke also allegedly threatened to throw the inmate over the rail upstairs. Doke denies that he threatened the other inmate. Doke is charged with a felony count of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor of terroristic threatening. He is currently in the Izard County Detention Center on charges of computer child pornography and distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
