The West Plains City Council met Monday, April 10, in a special session to reorganize. During the meeting, Mayor Mike Topliff and new councilmember Greg Collins were sworn in. Both, Topliff and Collins, won contested races in the April 4 Municipal Election.
Councilmember Jessica Nease will now serve as Mayor Pro-Tem and serve on the Tourism Board and alongside Mayor Topliff on the Planning and Zoning Committee, Councilmember John Niesen will serve on the Civic Center Board, Councilmember Johnny Murrell will serve on the Library Board, and Councilmember Collins will serve on the Parks and Recreation Board.
