The Highway Patrol reports that 47-year-old Melanie McDarius of Hartville and 56-year-old Christopher Maples of Strafford were both killed when Maples lost control of the vehicle he was driving and went airborne and then rolled over the median cables into the path of the vehicle that McDarius was driving. the accident happened on I-44, three miles west of Marshfield.
