The Howell County Sheriff’s Department arrested Shelby Starr on charges of Child abuse and neglect resulting in a child’s death. According to investigators, Starr kept the, baby, in a closet and kept a 1,500 watts space heather in the closet because of heating issues. They say that Starr did not check on the baby for almost 12 hours. Medical personnel says the child from hyperthermia and dehydration due to the tight space and heat.
