Last week deputies served a search warrant at a residence on County Road 523 in the Arno area and found approximately 24 grams of meth. 36-year-old Brandon Locklear of Ava was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance meth, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia prior offender. His bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
Then early this week the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Heather White of Vanzant on charges of possession of controlled substance meth, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and operating a vehicle without a valid license. Her bond was set at $2,500 cash.
