The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that 50-year-old Darren Neal suffered moderate injuries when 44-year-old Jarrell Neal of Salem MO lost control of the boat on a shoal and a sharp bend in the river and hit a bluff and then sunk in the river. Darren Neal was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Big Piney River 5.6 miles west of Licking.
