STARKVILLE, Miss. – No. 6 Arkansas (34-12, 15-7 SEC) spun a combined two-hitter and blasted a pair of home runs, cruising to a 6-2 series-opening win against Mississippi State (24-21, 6-16 SEC) on Friday night at Dudy Noble Field.

Arkansas, winner of three consecutive series against Mississippi State, will look to make it four in a row and lock up back-to-back series wins in Starkville for only the second time in school history in Saturday night’s game two. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. on ESPN2

COLUMBIA, Mo. – One night after rallying from seven runs down to capture a key Southeastern Conference victory over Ole Miss, Missouri seized control early and ran away with a 13-3 run-rule victory to clinch a pivotal series win at Taylor Stadium.

The Tigers and Rebels conclude their three-game series Saturday (May 6) with a 2 p.m. contest.

JONESBORO, Ark. (5/5/23) – Arkansas State baseball scored seven runs in the final two innings, but it was not enough to surmount a 12-run deficit in a 19-14 loss to Old Dominion Friday night at Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field.

The Red Wolves look to even the series against the Monarchs on Saturday, with first pitch slated for 3 p.m

MURRAY, Ky. – Missouri State scored eight runs in the fourth inning of Friday’s Missouri Valley Conference series opener at Murray State, extending their overall win streak to nine games and conference streak to 13, the program’s longest in both categories since 2017.

With rain in the forecast Sunday, the Bears and Racers will conclude the series with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
