The Highway Patrol reports that 72-year-old Cledith Green was injured when she failed to yield and was hit by a car driven by 28-year-old Braytham Alexander of Fordland, Green’s vehicle overturned and hit a third vehicle driven by 59-year-old Randall Cate of Fordland. Alexander also suffered serious injuries in the accident. Green was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S. 60 in Fordland.
