
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Hunter Hollan threw a complete game gem to lift the No. 3 Arkansas baseball team (38-13, 19-8 SEC) to a 5-1 series-clinching win against No. 6 South Carolina (37-14, 15-11 SEC) on Sunday afternoon at Baum-Walker Stadium.
With the win, the Hogs secured their seventh SEC series victory of the season and improved to 30-4 at home this year.
The Hogs will travel to Nashville, Tenn., to close out the regular season at Vanderbilt. First pitch between the Razorbacks and Commodores is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday.

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Missouri State dropped Sunday’s series finale at Southern Illinois by a 3-2 final at Itchy Jones Stadium as both teams managed only three hits in the warm and humid conditions.
Despite the setback, the Bears (31-18, 18-6 Missouri Valley Conference) still left Carbondale with their seventh consecutive series victory and at least a second-place finish, and host first-place Indiana State at Hammons Field from Thursday to Saturday with a chance to claim a regular season MVC championship with a sweep of the Sycamores.
