The highway Patrol reports that 19-year-old Bethany Counts suffered moderate injuries when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Daren Atkins of West Plains, traveled off the road, and struck an embankment and a fence. Counts was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway 17, eight miles north of West Plains.
