The Class 2 State Golf Tournament began Monday and several area players are competing. After the first day, Thayer’s Easton Pitts is tied for 55th, and Michael Nelson is tied for 66th. Willow Springs team is in 7th place and individually, Noah Leslie is tied for 12th, Mathew Miller is tied for 26th, Brady Altermatt is tied for 51st, and Holt McGinnis is tied for 71st. Mountain View Birch Tree Liberty’s Dayne Dewick is tied for 59th and Owen Roberts is in 74th place. Houston’s Colten Stewart is tied for 55th and Licking’s Nicholas Hood is in 76th place.
