Monday morning Lawrence County Arkansas authorities responded to the Black River on Highway 25 for a reported vehicle in the water. The Sheriff’s Office along with Black Rock Fire Department, Arkansas State Parks, and an ambulance all responded to the call just a little after 11 am. The vehicle had reportedly gone down a steep ravine and was completely submerged in the water. A woman who was in the car managed to escape the vehicle without injury. No injuries were reported and no names have been released.
