20-year-old Jongavin Quinn Roop allegedly became combative with deputies and knocked them down. Roop is charged with two felony counts of battery on a police officer and misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest, possession f a Schedule 4 controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violating a no-contact order. His bond was set at $10,000.
