34-year-old Daniece Clinton is charged with 4 counts of abuse or neglect of a child and 4 counts of first-degree child endangerment, creating substantial risk. An interview with the children allegedly revealed they had inadequate access to food, water, and heat, and had witnessed domestic disturbances between Clinton and her spouse, James T. Young, who also faces related charges. The interviews reportedly revealed the children were privy to illicit drug use and had been subject to direct threats and abuse from both Clinton and Young. Clinton’s bond was set at $75,000. She will be in court on June 5th.
