The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of two people in Birch Tree on separate charges on Wednesday. Around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon they arrested 55-year-old Jamie Tasker for failure to register as a sex offender, having no valid driver’s license, and no insurance. Tasker is being held without Bond. Then around 6:15 Wednesday evening, they arrested 39-year-old Steven Vantine on a felony Shannon County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Howell County jail.
