The Barry County Sheriff’s Office has reported that seven inmates escaped from the Barry County jail on Thursday after assaulting two officers. Sheriff Danny Boyd said that three of the inmates were caught about 15 minutes after the escape.
Two more inmates were later captured in the early morning hours of Friday with another captured a couple of hours later but one inmate is still on the loose. Mario Che-Tiul have not been returned to police custody.
Sheriff Boyd says the Che-Tiul should be considered armed and dangerous. He is asking everyone in the area to keep their doors to their houses and cars locked at all times and if you see him you should immediately call 911.
