
On 06/06/23, Deputy Phelan and Lieutenant Rhoades conducted a warrant service for Talisa Collins at a residence in Gainesville for her active felony warrant for a probation violation. She was located, arrested, and booked into jail.
On 06/02/23, Lieutenant Rhoades spotted a vehicle known to be associated with a male that had an active felony warrant at a house in Tecumseh. Deputies Sherman and Fountain arrived and assisted in locating Curtis Gray on the property and arresting him.
On 05/06/23, in the early morning, 911 dispatch received a call of a possible hostage situation in the Tecumseh area. Family members reported that they received a text from the homeowners stating two males broke into their home and were holding them at gun point. Deputies were dispatched and arrived a short time later. During an initial investigation, the homeowners were heard on a phone line crying and begging for their lives.
The Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force was called out to assist with the situation. After approximately 30 minutes, the team was able to get the two occupants out of the house. They stated there were still males inside the house. The house was cleared, and no one was located inside.
An investigation revealed that the occupants of the house were under the influence of meth and no one broke into the residence. Both occupants of the house had induced visions of intruders via the use of amphetamines. Meth and paraphernalia were located on the individuals and inside the residence in plain view. Both Randy and Marsha Wilson were arrested and booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
