A Highland High School Student has been elected as a State Representative for his congressional district at Arkansas Boys State. Jamison McHenry of Glencoe was elected by his peers during the district election on May 30th. The Arkansas Boys State build a mock government structure, including eight different districts each with three senators and 10 representatives. McHenry will get to meet with Arkansas Legislators to learn more about the legislative branch. Boys State is being held at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
