Arkansas baseball has had five players in school history make All-American twice.
Hagen Smith could make it six.
The Razorbacks left-hander was named to such honor Wednesday by Collegiate Baseball. Smith registered 109 strikeouts in 71 2/3 innings with a 3.64 earned-run average and opponents hit just .217 against him.
Smith was Arkansas’ ace all season, even in his seven relief appearances. He shifted to the bullpen as Arkansas’ closer halfway through the SEC schedule when Brady Tygart and Kotry Frank were lost to injury.
