The Highway Patrol reports that 73-year-old Patricia Parker and 63-year-old Donna Elfrank both suffered minor injuries when Parker failed to negotiate a turn, ran off the road, and struck an embankment. Both women were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 67, two miles north of Poplar Bluff.
