54-year-old Diana Gonzales was in court on Wednesday in Shannon County and waived a preliminary hearing. She is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 48-year-old Dana Ducharme whose body was found in the Mark Twain National Forest in April of 2022. 58-year-old Jody Brown of Kingston Arizona was previously charged with the murder. The prosecution alleged that Ducharme was a victim of a “Catfishing Scheme” on the Internet. Brown was recently granted a change of venue in the case. Gonzales is set to be back in court on Monday for arraignment.
