According to the Highway Patrol report, 56-year-old Rickey Garner suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Beth Fienhold of Bakersfield attempted to make a turn and was hit from behind by the vehicle that Garner was driving. The accident happened on Highway 101 at Highway YY, three miles north of Bakersfield. Garner was taken to Baxter Health.
