26-year-old Chandler Carlo allegedly started a fire at a home on Tate Street. Carlo allegedly admitted to setting the fire and told officers that he wanted the residents of the home gone and was protecting his family. Carlo had reportedly started a fire in the yard to burn trash, but then walked across the street and set fire to the house’s back bedroom. Carlo was arrested and charged with arson.
