According to police reports, 18-year-old Landon Hunt was southbound on Highway 63 on a dirtbike when a northbound vehicle driven by 55-year-old Michelle Monroe of Collierville turned left into the driveway at Spring River Lodge Hotel and hit Hunt. Hunt was flown to Regional One Medical Trauma Center in Memphis where he later died. Monroe told authorities that she did not see the motorcycle because his lights were not on.
