24-year-old Osborn Eugene Gavel was found guilty of the murder of 74-year-old Steven Reece in Hardin County Iowa. Gavel allegedly beat him to death with a crowbar. Gavel was free on bond for drug charges when the murder happened. Gavel allegedly has filed a notice of appeal with the Iowa Supreme Court.
