The Highway Patrol reports that 61-year-old Richard Lucy suffered moderate injuries when he lost control of the pickup he was driving and struck a tree. He was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was also charged with DWI. The accident happened on county road 616 at county road 614, two miles south of Ellington.
