Yesterday, a Willow Springs Police Officer identified Brandy Venn on N Harris Street, and was aware she had a Warrant. Upon contact, the Officer confirmed the Warrant, and Venn was taken into Custody for a Felony Warrant with a $5,000 bond. Venn was then handed over to Howell County Deputies for transport.
On 07/02/2023, Willow Springs Officers observed a pickup parked at Love’s truck stop without any plates, occupied with three individuals. While attempting to make contact, the Officers were contacted by the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, in regards to a missing female juvenile reportedly seen at the same location. When Officers made contact, the driver denied any knowledge to the identity of the juveniles in his vehicle. During the investigation, the driver, identified as Frank Joseph Mackey admitted to purchasing alcohol for the minors, one of them being the missing juvenile that Howell County had reported. Mackey also informed Officers that there was ecstasy in a pill bottle in his truck. Officers located the bottle, which field tested positive for MDMA (ecstasy). Mackey is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Supplying Alcohol to a Minor.
