The Howell County Sheriff’s Department reports one arrest after a search warrant was served in Pomona. Friday the Howell County SWAT unit assisted by the South Central Drug Task Force and West Plains Police served a search warrant at a residence at 5020 State Route N, Pomona, Missouri. Upon executing the search warrant; Zachary R. Siegrist was taken into custody on the scene. Following a search of the residence several items were located including approximately 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 30 Xanax pills, drug-related paraphernalia, and a total of five firearms were seized as evidence. Deputies also recovered a stolen vehicle reported out of the West Plains Police Department including additional items that are suspected to be stolen from other jurisdictions. Siegrist was transported to the Howell County Adult Detention Center pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon and a $50,000 bond was issued.
