Authorities report that an inmate that escaped the Shannon County jail on Thursday is now back in custody. 42-year-old Kenny Carpenter allegedly broke through a fence in the recreational area. Carpenter was arrested on a felony warrant out of Tennessee related to violating his probation for drug possession. Carpenter was taken back to the Shannon County jail.
