Balentine is best known for hitting the game-winning jumper against Michael Jordan and the #1 ranked North Carolina Tarheels in 1984. Balentine is in the UA Sports Hall of Honor. He was selected by the Kings in the NBA Draft in the sixth round in 1985. He spends many years working as an executive at Walmart.
