The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department reports three arrests last week

On Friday, Deputy Lane and Deputy Phelan observed a male driving on Hwy 181 who they knew had a revoked driver’s license. They conducted a stop on the vehicle and firearms were located in the vehicle. Greg Hambelton is a convicted felon and is prohibited from being in possession of firearms. He was arrested and booked into jail for felon in possession of firearms and driving on a revoked driver’s license.

Also on Friday  Deputy Sherman observed a male drive into the Sheriff’s Office parking lot who he knew had a revoked driver’s license. William Chamberlain drove Kim Morris to the station to take her to her scheduled meeting with her parole officer.

Deputy Sherman spoke to the male about driving while revoked and K9 Karo was activated. K9 Karo alerted the vehicle indicating there was a controlled substance inside. During a search of the vehicle, meth and paraphernalia were located in the center console. The vehicle was registered to Kim and both admitted to using meth. They were both arrested and booked into jail.
