It was another big year for the Fill the Boot fundraising campaign conducted by the Thayer Fire Department along with the Thayer Rural Fire Department. This past Saturday they collected $2,808 for Muscular Dystrophy. There are still a couple of boots out there if you would like to donate. One is at the Thayer Police Station and the other is at Thayer City Hall. All money collected goes to the MDA Association no money is kept by the Fire Department.
