30-year-old Jady Allen Brannon was arrested after police were called to a business on Highway 5 North regarding a suspicious man. When they questioned Brannon, Police say he appeared to be in an altered mental state. Brannon attempted to back away from the Police and when one officer grabbed his wrist he pulled a knife. Officers pulled their guns and told him to drop the knife. A third officer arrived and used his taser causing Brannon to fall down. Brannon is charged with felony aggravated assault, and misdemeanor resisting arrest, carrying certain prohibited weapons, and being a habitual offender. His bond was set at $25,760.
