The Highway Patrol reports that 40-year-old James McGinnis and a 3-year-old and a 2-year-old boy all suffered minor injuries when McGinnis crossed a yard and hit a porch on a house. All three were taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened at a private residence, on county road B-502, three miles north of Ava.
