A man from Cherokee Village died last week after being stung by Yellow Jackets. Sharp County dispatch was called to a home in Cherokee Village where a man was reportedly stung multiple times by yellow jackets that came from under his porch. On August 16th just before 10 am dispatch received the call. When emergency personnel the man was reportedly having medical complications. He was found lying face down on the ground unresponsive. They started CPR. The man was taken to a medical facility where he was pronounced dead. Authorities say the man had numerous medical issues and a specific cause of death has not been determined. No name has been released.
