MODOT announces the closure of the Greer Springs Bridge on Highway 19, today from 8 am until around 1 or 2 this afternoon. This is for a federally mandated-bridge inspection. Tomorrow, the Narrows on Highway 142 will be closed from 8 am until 1 pm for a bridge inspection. Motorists are urged to use an alternate route.
