A report from CBS Sports confirmed the death of Reggie Chaney at the age of 23.
Chaney joined Arkansas in 2018 from Findlay Prep in Nevada. After two seasons with the Hogs, he transferred to Houston in 2023 and finished this past season as the American Athletic Conference’s Sixth Man of the Year on a Cougar team that won a program-best 33 games.
No cause of death has been given.
