
The Council took care of regular monthly business including the paying of the bills, they approved the treasurer’s report and the six-month financial report, and the collector’s statement for the past fiscal year. The council set August 28th at 6 pm as the date and time for a tax hearing. And they heard a request from Larry Sisson from New Life Church about a drain that was causing flooding in their parking lot. The City told Mr. Sisson that he would need to contact MODOT about it because that is their right of way. The City council also heard from Dr. Tomvley from Master’s Ranch, who told them that they were looking to sell their property on Business 63 and asked if the city had an interest in buying it. Then in an open discussion, Bob Eckman addressed the council about the update on the incubator
He also talked about the project at the intersection of 63 and 19.
The Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month in City Hall.
