The Highway Patrol says that 58-year-old Michael Purvis suffered moderate injuries when a vehicle crossed the center line and hit his vehicle head-on. The other driver, 29-year-old Stephanie Bedwell of Springfield also suffered moderate injuries. The accident happened on U.S. 60, just east of Billings. Purvis was taken to Cox South in Springfield.
