A woman from South Dakota was arrested by the Oregon County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday. 50-year-old Stacy Margheim of Hot Springs South Dakota was arrested on a Howell County warrant for two counts of felony first-degree assault and felony resisting arrest by fleeing. She is being held in the Thayer Jail without bond.
A man from Alton was arrested Tuesday in Oregon County. The Oregon County Sheriff’s Department arrested 55-year-old Billy Ray Tillman on an Oregon County warrant for failure to appear on charges of two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle. He was taken to the Thayer jail and is being held on a $2,500 bond.
A man from Thayer was arrested Monday for stealing a firearm. 36-year-old Christopher Michael Cone was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold then on Tuesday an Oregon County warrant was issued for felony stealing a firearm/explosive weapon and felony unlawful possession of a firearm. A Missouri Department of Corrections probation and parole warrant was also issued. Cone is being held without bond.
