47-year-old Lydia Villapando was arrested after officers responded to a domestic disturbance on September 5th. When they arrived officers found a man injured sitting on the bed. Witnesses told authorities that Villapando started hitting and biting the man and then hit another man who tried to intervene. Villapando was taken to the Hospital for treatment of her injuries and when a deputy tried to get her out of the vehicle she allegedly started kicking and fighting the deputy and threatened to kill him. Villapando is facing felony charges of battery and terroristic threatening along with misdemeanor charges of domestic battery, resisting arrest, and interference with emergency communications. Her bond is set at $10,000.
