The Mayor of Hoxie may be in trouble after he allegedly tried to run over a journalist. According to reports Mayor Dennis Coggins tried to run over Lucas Peppers with his truck. Peppers was at City Hal to retrieve information when the mayor told him he was not allowed to film in the lobby of the building. Peppers continues to film outside the building when the mayor allegedly tried to run him over. According to reports the Mayor then later made threats in front of the Hoxie Police which were caught on the Sheriff’s Body Camera and on security cameras in the building.
