It’s official, a Mountain lion has been spotted in Shannon County. The Missouri Department of Conservation confirms the sighting using photos and other signs after the Mountain lion appeared to have killed an elk. This is the first official sighting in Missouri in four months. There have been 13 sightings this year in Missouri. Since 1994 there have been 114 sightings but just 12 confirmed most have been in south central Missouri.
