The highway Patrol reports that 50-year-old Jamie Douglas suffered moderate injuries when the car he was driving was hit in the rear by another vehicle, causing his car to travel off the road and overturn. The other vehicle fled the scene. The accident happened on Missouri Highway 5, five miles north of Grove Spring. Douglas was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.
