The Highway Patrol reports that 27-year-old Bethany Long suffered moderate injuries when she swerved to miss a deer, ran off the road, and hit a telephone pole and a fence. Long was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on RT FF, six miles east of Alton.
