The Highway Patrol reports that 27-year-old Dustin Dowdy suffered serious injuries and a 4-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when a tire blew out on the vehicle Dowdy was driving, causing the vehicle to slide off the road and overturn. Both Dowdy and the 4-year-old were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Highway F, two miles east of Eastwood in Carter County.
