The Howell County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of Adam Barlett JR, who police had been looking for the past couple of weeks. Thursday at approximately 9 p.m. Howell County Deputies received information as to the whereabouts of Bartlett. The Howell County SWAT Team was activated and responded to the location. Upon arrival, Bartlett began to flee the scene in a stolen vehicle. Due to Bartlett’s extensive history of resisting by fleeing from law enforcement in a vehicle and creating a substantial risk to the public, a tactical vehicle intervention was executed by the SWAT team. This disabled the vehicle and prevented further flight of the wanted subject. Bartlett was taken into custody and transported to the Howell County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on active felony warrants. Bartlett is currently held without bond.
